GLASSINE
Glassine is a smooth and slightly gloss translucent paper, unless dyes are added to colour it or make it opaque. It is air, water and grease resistant, through a mechanical rolling process called super-calendering… it flattened the fibres in the same direction and smoothen its finish surfaces. There isn’t any wax or chemical being used to achieve this said resistant properties, thus Glassine Paper is suitable for foodservice uses, foodstuff packaging, interleaves / barrier strips of products and etc . It is available in 48 and 58gsm, Natural-White & White respectively.
